On Saturday April 6, a group of Slavic and Korean faithful of the Orthodox Metropolis of Korea participated in the 2019 Geumcheon Harmony Cherry Blossom Festival for the financial support of the Orthodox Mission in Korea.
In the Stand that had the inscription ‘Taste the Russian, Ukrainian & Uzbek Food in Geumcheon’, Russian and Ukrainian dishes, sweets, Greek olive oil and olives were sold.
At a time of crisis in the relations between Russia and Ukraine, the joint participation of Russians and Ukrainians at the festival is a blessed event and that is why it was seen and commented on very positively by Koreans.
